Nice color, but it has useless credit card-driver's license space, as though this would replace a wallet?
My zipper has crapped out in the middle, either not meshing or not transiting the unmeshed area to leave it unopened and yet unclosed.

I love the print of the cover for my Kindle 3, however it has what are to me, useless credit card holders and a paper money holder on the inside front of the cover facing the Kindle itself, which I worry will damage the screen of my Kindle. I ordered it for the beautiful exterior, assuming it would have a place for the cord - it doesn't. However, the case protects the Kindle - the main reason for getting it - and it is really pretty, so I have placed a protective cloth over the Kindle iself before closing it each time and am keeping it.

Most of the after-market Kindle 3 cases/covers/sleeves are really Kindle 2 cases being re-marketed as Kindle 3 units, but not this one, thank goodness.
Pros:
1) Kindle 3 fits snugly inside, which is exactly what I wanted. No movement or sloshing around.
2) Semi-hard shell offers real protection when carried in my purse.
3) Made of non-animal material.
4) Zippers pull smoothly.
5) Stylish.
6) Lightweight, especially for the amount of protection it offers.
Cons:
1) Interior credit card pockets are worthless. If used, would cause uneven bulk thereby risking damage to the kindle, which defeats the purpose of having a cover in the first place - protection.
2) The two bottom corner straps that secure Kindle partially cover buttons. Not a big deal, but I would prefer not to have any undue stress on the buttons.
3) The case makes booting/waking the kindle a little awkward, but my guess is any zippered case would be the same in this regard.
4) The unit is very smelly. I'm hoping the odor lessens with time.
